Death By Fire | Devlog #5


Yay! I finished my dragon boss...For the most part anyways, I have to add to one of the animations, but other then that, I'm done.

Here's the big attack, and a demonstration of the collision. 


This is a big milestone for the game, this is the halfway point. I have finished the core game play. So, what's next. I'm glad you asked. 

Next I'm going to work on the menu, the  pause system, the save feature, the shop, sound effects, music, and some other stuff. I got a full list of things to do.

(For those that are wondering. Why I am doing the menu first, that is because most of the other stuff tie-in with it in some way, take the pause button for example: I'm going to have a go-to menu button in it, I can't go to the menu, if there is no menu)

But before I start on those things, I'm going to do a few art things, like making it easier to tell the ground from the background, and as mention above I have to add to my dragon sprite sheet. Oh, and I can't forget the media stuff  (thumbnails, screenshots, trailers, etc).  

Also, I will be uploading the, update? Not exactly sure what to call the upload of new features in a still-in-the-making game...Ehh, i'll just call it update. Anyways, I'll be loading the update soon, once I fix the dragon art problem, which should be in a couple days if not sooner.
